We are looking for reliable, hardworking people across Sandwich, Deal and East Kent. With a car or without. Age is no barrier. We are also looking for partners and sub-contractors.
There may not be an opening straight away, but we are expanding and want to keep your details on file. We will create opportunities for the right person.
Who we are looking for
Reliable, hardworking and honest people who turn up when they say they will and take pride in a job done properly. Experience in gardening, repairs, fittings, decorating, cleaning or small maintenance work helps, and so does anything else you have done that shows you can be trusted with someone's home or garden. Tell us what you have done and what you are good at.
- With a car or without. Having a car helps us cover more ground, but it is not a requirement. Tell us where you live and how you get about.
- Any age. Young, older, or somewhere in between, we welcome applications from everyone and look at each one on its merits.
- Full time, part time or a few days. Tell us what suits you.
- Right to work. You will need to be able to show you have the right to work in the UK.
The kind of work we do
We are a family of local services: gardening and hedge work, fencing, small electrical jobs, home repairs and handyman work, painting and decorating, and more, mostly for homes around Sandwich, Deal, Eastry, Wingham, Ash and nearby East Kent villages. What is available varies with the season and the jobs on the books, so tell us what you are after and we will be straight with you about what we have.
Partners and sub-contractors
We also want to hear from tradespeople and small businesses who would like to work alongside us on local jobs: gardeners, handymen, painters and decorators, builders, fencers, plumbers, electricians and others. Tell us your trade, the area you cover, and any certificates and insurance you hold.
Where a job needs a registration, you will need to hold it. For example, gas work needs a Gas Safe registered engineer, and notifiable electrical work needs a registered electrician.
